I am not getting paid for my AA in Psychology as well with the job that I currently have. UOP ensured me I would make more money and that I would have plenty of job opportunities but that did not happen. Not even a little bit. I have worked so hard to get my student loans forgiven due to not being included in the 2012 through 2016 lawsuit against UOP. it's quite funny how the lawsuit only has through those 4 years but what about the years the college was committing FRAUD PRIOR TO. it's quite sickness me that I am stuck among others with these debts and no one hears nothing we are saying it's like we're just being ignored and people are just going on with their lives as we can't just simply go on with ours from all of the unnecessary debt trying to make sure our credit doesn't fall victim as we all have. Someone needs to STOP the college and shut the mf (excuse my language) down. Kinda funny I was enrolled in that school and shortly after the market crashes and I'm sure majority of everyone on here has was effected by it but who cares right UOP still wants the MONEY that we're NOT MAKING. I had over this time had my suspicions about the validity of this college; there were little things along the way and even admissions from my student peers who had contacted me privately to give their thoughts about various shady things happening at this institution. I have filed for grievance and been ignored by this institution. There are many reasons this college should be shut down and one of those reasons is its private investments that I was too dumb or naive to look into. I later found after not once being offered a posotion because of two degrees at this institution that they were affliated with Leon Black and Erik Prince and that they have been defrauding the government that I later suspected was much deeper than we were told. Erik Prince just happens to be related to Betsey DeVos, they are brother and sister, so that gave him a member of the Apollo Group Management fund at that time the abiltiy to have a say in what direction his sibling might go in the two lawsuits that were brought against this college. I was excluded from both lawsuits in very sinister ways: The first time they made the cutoff just outside of my graduation and only included students who attended from 2012 onward. The second time, I was excluded because only those who had private loans through banks were forgiven. I applied for the Borrower Defense at that time because I was excluded from these two lawsuits, and I had a legitimate case in my opinion being that they had made me get out loans and advised me to continue to get them even with the spouse funds I was getting through MYCAA a program for military spouses. I also had Pell Grant that they always seemed to be telling me and advising me would not cover my courses, I was harassed incessantly by my academic and financial counselors at one point, I tried to take a break because my now ex husband was shot and my dad ended up dying from terminal cancer, these people harassed me the entire time as I struggled to deal with these two life issues. They called me nonstop trying to get me to keep my financial aid going that is all they cared about. I was bullied not just by faculty, but by other students who plagiarized and often did not give equal partnership of the workload when we were forced to work on teams in every class with these people. It was a horrible experience, and I have never gotten a job because of these degrees, they should be shut down because of their affiliations and the criminal manner they behaved. My student loans have now almost doubled and I will never have a way to pay them back. I could not even get Dollar General to hire me, no one would hire me based on these credentials. I am hopefully included in this lawsuit because I had signed up for the borrower defense program to get my loans discharged. I feel that many things should be looked into not just the fraud that was already established but the fact that they are linked with military contractors like Constellis and Israeli Intelligence contractors from what I have learned. Also, they have been linked to Leon Black because of the Apollo Group / Apollo Group Management ties and that links to Jeffrey Epstein, who was not just a trafficking criminal but had ties to intelligence and financial crimes. This makes this institution a criminal organization because not once when I reported the plagiarism did the college act on that, I was threatened by my peers, when I tried to quit I was basically threatened by various advisers who worked diligently various psychological tactics and ploys to keep me going, they did this even after I was done with the bachelor degree and manipulated me into getting a masters that as I said I have not had a single job since. I sincerely hope that those who attended this college and others like it get their justice and their loans forgiven, especially those who were tricked by these people into continuing when they suspected something was not right like I did. But at the end of my graduation, I didn't feel any closer to getting that guaranteed career, just a lot of worry on how am I going to pay back these loans. I am disabled on disability which the university knew this. They told me I would be able to find employment if and when I am able to. My degree is worthless. The only thing I can do with my degree which cost around 100,000 is be a psychological assistant, which I thought with my degree and the words for the university advisors that I would be able to get a license to practice, not be an assistant. I don't understand how the university is allowed to tell people that you can do so much with a degree when you cannot really do anything. Apparently, I live in one of many states that do not offer licenses to those that only have Master's, if I had known that I would have only got an associate's degree. Plus, while in my bachelor's I was going to switch majors and go into criminal justice, but my advisor talked me into using the electives (extra classes needed) for some criminal justice classes rather than changing my major, but my degree is only for psychology, so I didn't see the point in that now. I need guidance as to what I can do. They want me to pay $1,000 a month which is not even feasible for my family. They expect me to be homeless and me and my kids to live in a tent somewhere so I can pay them. They do not take any housing costs or living costs into consideration. They have no concern for humanity and all they care about is money. I will never be out of debt with these loans and when I retire they will garnish 25% of my social security wages and I will still be homeless. I have applied for thousands of jobs over the years and even paid someone to write a professional resume for me and still can't get one single interview. I have been in healthcare for 16 years as a medical assistant and earned a worthless bachelors degree in healthcare administration and still cant even get a higher paying job with my worthless degree. I have honestly contemplated suicide over these loans simply because they cant come after me if I am dead. I will have no quality of life when they start garnishing my wages. Period. There is no hope. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4202804909803677380.post-31973848313915128472019-02-18T07:01:24.503-08:002019-02-18T07:01:24.503-08:00Thanks for sharing this. If you are making higher payments and still seeing your principal increase, it might make sense to refinance--particularly if your loan has a high interest rate.
